Emerald Beach Photography

So there is heaps of beaches in Australia, like probably thousands! I have seen a few, but I have to say the best beach I have been to so far whilst in Australia would have to be Emerald Beach!

Emerald Beach in is NSW about 20 minutes outside of Coffs Harbor! And man, let me tell you this beach is TRULY stunning! Prue and Jock are renovating a house there, and I will be able to stay there for a wee bit before I move back to Moree! They have a fantastic view of the ocean again! Im excited to live their for a wee bit of my stay in Australia! Anyway, Prue, Chalrie and I went for a walk on the head land to see if we could see some whales... we didn't but still the view was amazing! I saw hundreds of Kangaroos, actually up close and not far away! And I finally got some pictures of them! The water was beautiful, and so was the day! I cant explain to you how amazing this beach is... you have to see it for yourself! Thats why in this blog all im going to really do is post pictures!!! YAYAYAYA

nicknames

So, in Australia everyone, and i mean everyone has nicknames! Honestly, basically everyone i know has a nickname!

Back at home, i would say nicknames arent as popular as they are here... I definitely didnt have one, and nor did any of my friends really..

Well here in Australia, I can finally say I have a nickname!! I have a couple actually.. and I love them!

My first nickname was from Miss Rosie Posie! She called me Relle, then Sarah and Willy started to call me Relle too! Same with the rest of their family! Relle is all thanks to Rosie, she started calling me Relle even before I came to Australia, I remember talking to Sarah and her telling me that Relle will probably be my new nickname! And it stuck! So thanks missy moo i love my nick name from you <3

My second nickname is Relish! Its a random/funny story... One night I was drinking with my friends Tilley, Cricket, and Tone Bone and Joel! Tilley is Matilda, Cricket is Chris, and Tone Bone is Tony! Joel is just Joel.. Anyway, I decided i wanted to call chris Cricket because not to many people called him Cricket.. then i was telling them they had to think of a nick name for me.. and out of no where Tone Bone decided to call me Relish! At first i was like NO way.. you cant call me that! Well, lets get real... lets just say Relish stuck, and i also love it too! Prue and Jock call me Relish, and Charlie calls me Roey! (he cant say Relish very well and if he really tries it comes out Roish)

Overall, i love my nicknames. They are fun!

Its funny to come to a country where nicknames are so popular, when back at home I dont recall they were! Australians love to shorten things!

Winter

Well, its one month away from winter in Australia, and yes it does get pretty chilly here!!! The mornings and evenings are freezing, the afternoons are alright but not hot. I miss the hot weather :( When i arrived in Moree in August it was winter, and there was frost on the ground in the mornings! I thought i was going to be coming to HOT HOT HOT weather, but no it was so cold!!! You would think that beucase I am from Canada, I would be able to handle it... well when I first arrived I tolerated it but did not like it one bit. And now that I have had a summer in Australia, the hottest summer I have ever had, I am shocked that it gets this cold and that I live in Canada!!! I am honestly wearing a long sleeve shirt and a jumper right now, and track pants.. and socks! I feel like im back home!! Not going to lie, im pretty excited to go back to Canada while it is still summer! I miss the heat, i miss the sun! I HATE THE COLD!

On and interesting note... it will be my first ever winter birthday!!!

Anyway, Skylar was here last week from monday till the following tuesday. It was a lovely week and I enjoyed having her in Coffs with me. I miss her heaps already, and wish she was still here. It wont be long till im back in Moree though.

We both got tattoos! My first, her third... i was so nervous, so scared! But it really wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. We got them on our ribs, and they say Imagine. I love it, it really is beautiful.

Imagine means alot.
I Imagined coming to Australia, and look where I am...
I use my imagination always, Im always imagining things. Everyone does, but not everyone follows there imagination.. I did.

Thinking

So today was my day off, and becuase it was finally sunny I spent my morning down at the beach just sitting there looking at the ocean, thinking. Honestly I hadn't seen the sun in so long I thought I would forget what it looked like, but thank goodness today it decided to grace us with its presence. It was beautiful, I am going to miss days like this in coffs. When the sun is shining, and its not to hot, but not to cold. The weather is just right, and the water is crystal blue. I'm going to miss Coffs when I leave, I will miss being so close to the ocean, I will miss being close to Kailee, and I will miss being so close to the mall. But I am excited to move back to Moree for the rest of my time here. Im sad I wont be working for Sarah and Willy, but I know I will see them heaps.

Coffs truly is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been too, surrounded by beautiful beaches what more could you really want? I have LOVED living by the beach, but my time is up here, and its time to go back to Moree, where I started off, and where I will finish.

I will miss Prue and Jock and my little man Charlie, and I'm a bit sad I wont be here for when she has the baby, but I will see them again, I know I will. They are amazing people, and Im glad I had the chance to work for them. Prue always knows what to say, and has a huge heart. And Jock is so easy going and laid back and all around an amazing guy. Charlie is one of the most placid little boys I have ever met, he is exactly like his mum, and just like his dad. He can always put a smile on my face, and always has one on his. He melts my heart and I love him to bits.

This year has gone by so fast, I cant believe its May already... soon enough it will be July and I will be leaving in 29 days.. 29days I cant imagine how fast those days will go by, when I look back and think about how fast this whole year has gone... I guess its true when they say time goes by fast when your having fun. Wouldnt it be so much better if it went by slow so that you could enjoy it that much more?

This day has just been a day of thinking, thinking about the past, the present and the future.
thinking about how im a bit scared to grow up, yet so excited.
just thinking about random, stupid little things.
thinking about how I miss my old friends, but Im going to miss my new ones so much when I leave.
thinking about how excited I am to meet my niece.
thinking about how excited I am to see Skylar again this week.
thinking about what I have regreted doing, and what I havent regreted doing.
thinking about what I have accomplished in my life.
thinking about why life is so short.
thinking about how Im going to be 20 soon and it feels so weird.
just thinking

My life is amazing, I wouldnt change anything, I'm content with the person I am today, and I feel I have changed for the better. I know coming to Australia has made me a different person. And I think me saying.. or me knowing that I have changed makes it pretty clear. I would have never said that before, I would have never admitted to changing. But I know I have. 

I know where I am going in life, and that makes me happy.

Update

So an update on my life at the moment...

I spent easter weekend in Moree with skylar and the rest of my moree favorite kitty cats! I had an amazing weekend, and wish i was still back there. On the Thursday sky and I went out to the pub and had ourselves a rather good time. On Friday I went out to Sarah and Willys house to visit my 2 favorite little ones in Australia. Rosie and George! they are getting so big, Rosie is talking like crazy, and George is sitting up by himself now :) He was so excited to see me it broke my heart to leave him, and It also broke my heart to leave rosie, especially when she tells me she misses me when i leave. Later on that night Skylar and Kitty had a party at her place, it was fun.

On the Saturday I watched Charlie and a little boy named Clancy, it was a long but fun day, Skylar ended up coming over later on in the day to help me out which was nice, it made time go by that much faster! Once everyone got home skylar and I just went back to her place and had a quiet one, we watched a movie and slept. On sunday we were suppose to be going back to Coffs, but Prue and Jock decided to stay just one more day which was nice :) I got to spend one more day with my favorite sister!!! We had a few drinks with kitty and lisa, matilda was there for a we bit but ended up leaving, But it was a fun night!!
The 5 hour drive home on monday was not that great! I felt a bit seedy and Charlie spewed the WHOLE way home, every half hour. it wasnt fun, poor little puppet!

All in all, it was an amazing easter weekend, spent with some of my favorite people that i miss already

I cant beleive i will be going home in 3 months, it doesnt seem real... its going so fast i dont like it.
My sister nicole is having a baby girl! Im so excited i was in tears when i found out :) She is going to be an amazing mum i know it, and i will be the best aunty this little girl will have :)

Im pretty sure skylar is coming down for the week and i cant wait to see her again!
Soon enough i will be back in Moree, and will get to see skycat everyday :) now that sounds AMAZING

but honestly just a rant, i dont know what to write on these things. But if you enjoy reading them, sweet.

Hopefully i will have a more intresting one soon, my life in coffs is boring, its getting cold and it makes me a sad cat. Its been so RAINY, thats what you get for living on the coast. But seriously sun come out soon please and thank you!

back in coffs harbour

So my week in the Sunshine Coast was pretty amazing, the weather was beautiful everyday and Charlie and I went to the beach everyday! On the Thursday we left the Sunshine Coast and went to Brisbane. There I hung out with Eliz, Kayla, Meghan, and Heather! We just had a little girls movie night and watched "shrooms" and "echo" well we didnt really watch all of echo because it got a bit boring.. so we turned it off. The next day Prue and Jock came to pick me up and then we were off back to coffs. We stopped a few times to look at some pet stores, also to eat some lunch. We ate at Manderin Court, it was good. We got back into Coffs pretty late, so I just went to bed. On Saturday I watched Charlie and we did a bit of Shopping and spent some time at the beach. Later that night i went to a party in the bush with Kailee and Dane, it was a good night.

On Sunday I didnt get up to much, I did some more shopping, then finished my paiting. Well actually I ruined it. I should of left it how it was. It was disappointing

Now today is monday and im just sitting here. I watched charlie for a few hours this morning. Then i went to the beach for a bit.

We are about to eat dinner now, then I think im going to head to Kailees to watch Glee.

Sunshine Coast Day 3

So today was just about the same as yesterday, woke up ate breakfest, it was delicious. Then charlie and i spent the morning at the beach. I got a we bit darker. And charlie actually let me build a sandcastle this time. of course he knocked it down as soon as i was finished, but at least he let me get a picture.
After we were done at the beach, i went and bought Charlie and I a popsicle, he enjoyed it! Made a mess of himself, but loved it.

Afterwards, we came back to the room watched one of his annoying dvds, then i put him down for an afternoon sleep. I went for a sleep aswell after i read a bit of my book. Once he woke up we went for a walk, there is a circus training ground here, and we watched all the people do flips on the rings! it was alot of fun to watch, charlie enjoyed it and danced to the music. He is a very groovy dancer. Then we met up with Prue and Jock and went for a swim. Jock and I ventured out to the water tramopline, it was closed but we decided to be rebels and pull the lader down anyway. It was fun! Not as bouncy as i would of thought, but it was enjoyable.

Now we are all getting ready to go to this fancy restourant for dinner, should be nice.
Tomorrow we are leaving and heading to Brizzy for the night, I cant wait to see Eliz and the girls! Hopefully i get the chance too, i miss them heaps, and havent seen them in ages.
